Institutional Limited Partners Association releases ILPA Private Equity Principles eUpdate
This week, the Institutional Limited Partners Association released its Private Equity Principles. The Association, formed by some of the biggest investors in private equity including CalPERS, OMERS and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, is seeking to 'restore and strengthen the basic "alignment of interests" value proposition in private equity', setting out its preferred terms for funds which in some cases seek to renegotiate the existing industry standards.
