Kevin is head of the corporate group. He joined the firm in 1982 and became a partner in 1989. He advises both public and private company clients, with a particular focus on private equity houses. Clients include Virgin, Just Retirement (Holdings) plc, Montagu Private Equity, Langholm Capital, Silverfleet Capital, Phoenix Equity Partners.

Recent highlights include advising on:

• the sale, for £720m, of Energis to Cable & Wireless;
• the initial public offering of Just Retirement (Holdings) plc;
• the sale, for $340m, of the public safety business of Seton House Group;
• the sale, for £231m, of the childcare business of Seton House Group;
• the sale of Silverfleet Capital's and Montagu Private Equity's interest in Finnish Chemicals for €345m;
• Phoenix Equity Partners' £45m acquisition of Letts Filofax, the manufacturer of diaries and personal organisers; and
• LLP conversions for a number of private equity houses, including Montagu Private Equity.
