Aladdin Capital
Advised Aladdin Capital Management UK LLP on the establishment of a collateralised loan obligation (“CLO”) platform. Aladdin Capital is a boutique investment banking firm with advisory, alternative investment management, and minority broker/dealer businesses.
Alchemy
Advised on the establishment, structuring and fundraising of Alchemy Special Opportunities Fund. This aims to achieve superior risk-adjusted returns principally by investing in debt and equity securities of European companies that are in financial distress or other special situations, primarily through non majority control situations.
Fugu Credit
Acted for Babson Capital Europe Limited on the establishment of Fugu Credit plc, a distressed debt fund. Fugu Credit issued loan notes listed on the Irish Stock Exchange. We also advised on the recent restructuring of Fugu Credit.
Partners Group
Advised Partners Group in relation to their proposed investments in funds in Europe and worldwide, including Apollo European Principal Finance Fund, LP, which was established principally to invest in European non-performing loans. Partners Group is a global alternatives asset manager with CHF19.6bn in private equity assets under management.
