Advised on the establishment of the Alchemy Special Opportunities Fund, a Guernsey limited partnership with commitments of £300m to invest in debt and equity securities of European companies in financial distress and other special situations.
Endless
Advised Endless, a fund management company on raising their second fund, a £164m fund to invest in special situations, including turnaround situations and financial restructurings.
Fugu Credit
Acted for Babson Capital Europe Limited on the establishment of Fugu Credit Plc, a distressed debt fund. Fugu Credit issued loan notes listed on the Irish Stock Exchange. We also advised on the recent restructuring of Fugu Credit.
Partners Group
Advise Partners Group in relation to the investments that it makes in a variety of funds, including distressed asset funds. Partners Group is a global alternatives asset manager with CHF 19.6bn in private equity assets under management.
R Capital
Advised on the FSA authorisation and structuring of R Capital, a specialist private investment business which provides investment advice to turnaround funds investing in UK and European businesses.
