Corporate litigation

Overview

Our corporate litigation lawyers specialise in high value complex disputes arising from corporate acquisitions, investments and reorganisations, shareholder arrangements, competition and antitrust disputes investigations, group actions, directors’ duties and corporate finance transactions.

We also deal with insolvency situations, advising directors on their duties and obligations, creditors on their remedies and addressing contentious issues relating to restructurings and schemes of arrangements.

Working closely with our specialist corporate lawyers, we advise leading businesses and business leaders, ranging from investment banks and financial institutions to UK and international corporations, private equity houses and wealthy individuals.

Many of the disputes in which we are involved are international and we regularly co-ordinate cross-border litigation, working closely with lawyers from the very best independent firms in other jurisdictions.

We always seek to understand the commercial imperatives behind any dispute. Our lawyers have the expertise and experience to work with you in devising the right strategy to achieve your objectives as effectively as possible, whether that means aggressive court action, the imaginative use of corporate law procedures and court or arbitration rules, or working towards a dispute resolution tool such as mediation.
