Litigation represents clients, including professional advisers, in relation to a broad range of professional negligence claims, where the law relating to duties owed by professionals and relevant assessment of damages has developed extensively in recent years. Matters which we have handled have involved accountants, financial institutions, surveyors and valuers, lawyers, architects, civil and structural engineers, surveyors, investment managers and trustees.
We are regularly involved in claims which themselves, depending on the outcome, may result in claims for professional negligence against advisors or where one of the parties is, in substance, a professional indemnity insurer.
