Pensions

We offer a team with the experience to foresee problems and respond appropriately to change; the creativity and industry knowledge to provide you with practical risk management advice; the ability to communicate clearly to help you make informed commercial decisions; the skills required to establish and promote good working relationships with employers, trustee boards, regulatory bodies and other advisers and stakeholders; and day-to-day experience of advising on "cutting edge" issues with tight deadlines often in an international context.

Pension schemes have much wider ramifications for companies than some other HR matters. Sophisticated security arrangements and investment structures are needed to provide stability and efficient management of these liabilities. Our pensions team has the ability to draw on the skills of our highly-regarded investment funds and banking and finance practices.

Rapidly changing legislation and regulation, the complexity of pension schemes may at times require formal dispute resolution or guidance from the courts. Working alongside our specialist litigators we deal with all types of pensions litigation.
