These include private equity, venture capital funds, secondaries funds, fund of funds, real estate funds and infrastructure funds.

  • We act for a large number of private fund managers; our involvement in so many aspects of the funds market gives us a very clear understanding of the latest market trends and terms.
  • In addition to our fund manager practice, we have an established practice advising institutional investors.
  • We are able to combine the knowledge of our investment management practice with that of our market-leading tax practice. This means that we will not only design the most appropriate structure, but also lead on the implementation.
  • We have experts who assist in the development of European policy-making. We can ensure that the fund and the fund manager satisfy all regulatory requirements and that the fund can pursue its chosen investment strategy.
  • We have an international offering which allows us to act for clients looking to attract international investors. We are also able to advise our clients on the best location for their fund and on the establishment of funds in all well-known fund jurisdictions, including Luxembourg, Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Cayman Islands.

Advising Keyhaven Capital Partners on its co-lead investment backing Miura Partners’ single asset GP-led transaction into Proclinic Group.

Synova Capital

Advising Synova on its fifth fund, Synova V, which closed at its hard cap of £875m (exceeding its target of £750m).

17Capital

Advising long-standing client 17Capital on its fifth fund, 17Capital Fund 5, which has successfully held a final closing at its hard cap of $2.9bn.

KLAR Partners

Advising KLAR Partners on its first fund, Klar Partners I, which closed at its hard cap of €600m.

CBPE Capital

Advising CBPE Capital on the structuring of a number of their private equity funds, including on the fundraising of its latest fund, CPBE Capital Fund X, which closed at its hard cap of £561m.

ECI

Advising ECI on its eleventh buyout fund, ECI 11, which closed within 80 days on its hard cap of £700m.
