Macfarlanes has advised long-standing client J.C. Flowers & Co on its investment into Solomon Capital Holdings, a newly created advice and wealth management group.
With J.C. Flowers' backing, the aim of the group is to build a significant national financial advice business serving more than 50,000 clients in the UK.
As part of this growth strategy, Solomon has already agreed, subject to regulatory approval, to acquire UK-based financial planning firm Beaufort Group, with more acquisitions in the pipeline.
The Macfarlanes team for this matter was led by corporate and M&A partner Justin Hope alongside associate Natasha Sellayah.
