Why did you join Macfarlanes?

Having worked at my previous firm for eight years, I needed a change of direction and fresh challenge and the opportunity to work at Macfarlanes provided the ideal platform.

What does a Director of Facilities do?

My main responsibility is to manage, build and lead a professional team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the firm's administration and service departments.

A typical day would involve the operational management of the firm's soft and hard services areas and ensuring implementation of policy by supporting the managing partner and senior management of the firm.

What do you like about working here?

Macfarlanes is a very friendly and respectful place to work and the number of long standing members of staff is testament to this fact.

The partners are very supportive of business services and encourage a one team ethos.
