Data is the fuel that drives AI. Access and exposure to data is critical to the development of the AI industry. Without both, AI technologies cannot be trained and their use will be limited. However, the use of and sharing of data by businesses to train AI and to inform AI decision making raises a number of issues around the sharing of data, and where such data relates to individuals, privacy concerns.
