Rupert Casey Partner
Rupert specialises in outsourcing, technology and data privacy, although his practice extends to commercial contracts and intellectual property.
He acts on a range of matters relating to the day-to-day operations of businesses with his clients being predominantly major UK and global businesses in the financial services sector as well as brand owners.
An additional part of his work includes advising on the commercial and IP aspects of corporate transactions, working closely with relevant groups within the firm to advise the wider corporate, financial services and private equity client base.
Rupert is acknowledged by directories as an expert in his field, and as a non-contentious lawyer, his workload predominantly relates to the commercial exploitation of such rights through licensing, franchising and disposals.
Rupert is a member of ITechLaw. He edited the data privacy update to the AIMA Guide to Cybersecurity Best Practice to which he was an initial contributor and regularly lectures and contributes to both specialist publications and working groups as well as broadsheets on matters of data privacy, cyber-security and outsourcing.
