Alex is a corporate insurance and regulatory lawyer, who advises on a range of specialist insurance and reinsurance transactions and insurance regulatory issues.

Alex advises insurers, reinsurers and pension schemes on defined benefit pension risk transfer transactions, including complex framework longevity and asset reinsurance arrangements and the regulatory issues associated with pension risk transfer transactions under Solvency II.

Alex also advises on a range of corporate, commercial and regulatory matters in the insurance sector including insurance policy reviews.

He has a particular interest in insurance regulatory matters including Solvency II, IDD, perimeter guidance and change in control matters under FSMA.

Alex sits on the steering group for PRIDE, a forum for networking and peer support between LGBTQ+ staff and allies.
