Adrian’s has particular expertise in the areas of permanent establishments, structuring and operational transfer pricing optimisation and transfer pricing policy risk assessments.
His clients predominantly include a portfolio of multinational banks, investment fund managers, private equity houses and insurers who he advises on their transfer pricing policies.
Adrian has seven years of financial services transfer pricing experience focused primarily on EMEA markets. Prior to starting his career in transfer pricing, Adrian was a treasury specialist and was involved in corporate bond broking where he promoted liquidity in the secondary corporate bond market in South Africa.
Adrian’s specialisations are the review and formulation of transfer pricing policies for financial services clients, identifying key risks and assessing transfer pricing audit exposures. Specifically, Adrian has specialised in permanent establishments, Brexit restructurings, ServCo modelling for insurers and reinsurers, capital allocations, capital attribution tax adjustment calculations and advisory services relating to the Bank Corporation Tax surcharge and non-surcharge entities. Adrian has also previously led the M&A function for financial services transfer pricing as a fully integrated specialist in due diligence for both buy and sell side opportunities.
In addition to his advisory portfolio, Adrian has been a transfer pricing specialist in the statutory audits of the UK’s largest headquartered banks, asset managers and insurers in a Big 4 audit firm.
