Steven Murrell Senior solicitor
Steven has a general practice but specialises in property litigation. He acts for a wide range of landlord and tenant clients, primarily in the commercial sector (investors, developers, financial services etc) but residential as well.
In the main, Steven’s work involves acting in proceedings for new leases under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, both contested and uncontested.
Steven also deals with possession actions (squatters / forfeiture) and claims arising out of breaches of covenants in leases, for example, dilapidations, recovery of arrears of rent (to include claims against former tenants and guarantors) and advising on the consequences of tenant insolvency.
Steven is a member of the Property Litigation Association.
