Matt advises on a broad range of UK and cross-border corporate tax matters.
In particular, Matt’s experience includes advising on all aspects of the formation and structuring of investment funds, the tax aspects of M&A transactions, international group tax planning, and advising investors on the tax aspects of their investments into funds
Prior to joining Macfarlanes, Matt worked in the tax department of a leading international law firm in Australia where he had a particular focus on tax disputes and capital markets transactions.
