Ross Pizzuti-Davidson Senior solicitor
Ross advises internationally-based high and ultra-high-net-worth families, executives and entrepreneurs on all aspects of trust and UK tax law.
He also provides related legal advice to trust companies, family offices and private banks, for themselves or for their private clients.
Key areas of advice include UK and international tax, trust structuring, estate and succession planning, relocation, UK real estate structuring, asset protection, regulatory, family governance and philanthropic issues. He also advises on tax investigations and disputes involving estates and family trusts.
Almost all of Ross’ work has an international dimension. He works with clients from a number of jurisdictions and has a particular interest in advising Asian families with some UK connections and expatriate families based in the Asia Pacific region, having previously studied Mandarin Chinese in Shanghai, Beijing and Taipei.
In 2020, he spent a year in Hong Kong on secondment to a private bank, working alongside their private bankers and wealth advisors on cross-border wealth planning matters. He developed a good understanding of the tax, trust and estate planning issues for clients based across the Asia Pacific region.
Ross is an associate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and holds the STEP Advanced Certificate in UK Tax for International Clients.
