Adam Porter Private equity counsel
As private equity counsel, Adam works with the cross-practice area private equity team on a range of projects and initiatives.
Adam is responsible for monitoring and advising on legal developments impacting the private equity industry, including developing insights on the implications of emerging issues.
Before re-joining Macfarlanes in July 2019, Adam spent just under two years as a director in the M&A and transaction solutions business of a leading global professional services firm, working predominantly with the firm’s private equity clients. Prior to that Adam spent seven years at Macfarlanes where he undertook a broad range of domestic and cross-border M&A work, with a particular focus on private equity M&A work. Adam has also advised on various corporate reorganisations and restructurings and spent 12 months in New York on secondment at a leading US law firm.
