Kirsten advises primarily on the tax aspects of commercial and residential real estate transactions. She has a broad range of clients, including large institutions, funds, developers and individuals.

Kirsten advises on the tax treatment of all real estate transactions, including forward fundings and developments, financing and restructuring transactions, corporate acquisitions, offshore holding structures and the formation of real estate joint ventures. Particular areas of focus include the tax treatment of residential developers and operators in the “build to rent”, student accommodation and care home sectors.

Kirsten is a member of the British Property Federation and the VAT Practitioners Group, and regularly speaks and writes on real estate tax topics.
