Fund managers operating across the globe will be facing a complicated patchwork of rules relating to ESG product labelling and disclosures.

In addition to SFDR and the Taxonomy Regulation, managers will eventually need to comply with the FCA's proposed sustainability disclosure requirements and investment labels, the SEC's proposed amendments to the fund "names rule" and ESG disclosure requirements.

Last week, partner Lora Froud and associate Tiffany Cox joined Sara P. Crovitz, a partner at US law firm Stradley Ronon, to compare and contrast the scope and requirements of the final and proposed rules and the practical impact on global fund managers.
