Macfarlanes advises Green Tiger Markets on its cloud-based trading platform

Macfarlanes has advised client Green Tiger Markets Pte. Ltd. (GTM) on its cloud-based trading platform for trading spot or forward, physically settled, precious metal contracts.
GTM has recently announced the first trade in Physical Rhodium on the new trading platform. The spot-basis trade exchanges US dollars for Rhodium sponge of 99.9% purity in the Johnson Matthey Royston vault, allowing the buyer and seller to both effectively hedge price risk.
The GTM Marketplace also provides market participants with the opportunity to trade Rhodium forwards.
The Macfarlanes team for this matter was led by financial services regulation partner Andrew Henderson alongside derivatives and trading senior counsel Alex Coyne.
