Immigration health surcharge - information for migrants

As of 6 April 2015 nationals from outside the European Economic Area making a UK immigration application, or those applying for an extension to their immigration permission, have to pay a health surcharge.

This note summarises the main issues the health surcharge poses for migrants and discusses the likely impact of the health surcharge on employers of non-EEA workers.
