The Government's long-awaited amendments to TUPE have now been laid before Parliament, and are to come into force at the end of this month.
In this publication, we consider the detail of the new legislation, and consider how the new rules will operate in practice. While employers will welcome many of the changes, doubt remains over the ability of business to harmonise their employees' terms and conditions after a transfer.
