Macfarlanes announces four new Partners

Macfarlanes will make four partner promotions on 1 April 2026: Alex Evans (Disputes), Hannah Kalveks (Private Client), Ryan Moore (Finance) and Kirti Tiwari-Mehta (Employment).

Alex Evans specialises in competition disputes and other complex contentious matters and has acted on a number of significant class action claims within the UK’s collective proceedings regime. His experience also includes matters before the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court, as well as mediation and arbitration.

Hannah Kalveks advises on a broad range of private client issues including tax issues affecting international clients, HMRC enquiries, asset structuring and associated governance issues and estate and succession planning.

Ryan Moore advises credit funds, institutional investors, private capital managers, banks, and alternative lenders on a broad range of domestic and cross-border financing transactions. His experience includes fund subscription line and fund leverage facilities, asset-backed lending and structured financing arrangements such as warehouse financings, forward flow structures, and investor-side significant risk transfer transactions, as well as other specialty financing matters.

Kirti Tiwari-Mehta advises a broad range of employment law matters including senior appointments and departures, carried interest and co-invest arrangements for the firm’s private capital clients and more broadly on TUPE, restrictive covenants, and restructurings.
