Macfarlanes has advised Zenzic Capital (Zenzic) on a strategic $100m commitment from Stable Asset Management to its Zenzic Real Estate Credit Opportunities Fund.

The investment to its evergreen real estate credit opportunities fund is its largest single LP commitment to date, and will allow it to focus on the lower and middle market segments of European real estate credit.

The Macfarlanes team was led by Fund Formation and Sponsor Solutions Partners Harriet Miller and Tom French, with support from Senior Associate Ollie Morris and Associate Anshuman Sood. Tax advice was provided by Senior Counsel Charishma Bhujohory.

Partners Harriet Miller and Tom French commented: "We are delighted to have supported Zenzic on this landmark commitment. The scale of Stable Asset Management's investment reflects the growing appetite for differentiated European specialist credit mangers and the advantages of evergreen structures. The transaction brought together our expertise across our Fund Formation and Sponsor Solutions practice to deliver this strategic investment.”
