Alex is a senior associate in the firm's Pensions and Insurance team.
He has experience in the pension risk transfer sector and particular expertise in assisting insurance clients in respect of longevity swap transactions and associated collateral structures.
Alex also has a strong regulatory background, including advising insurers and other financial service providers in respect of their regulatory obligations, including PRA rules.
Alex has strong client-side experience, having completed a secondment in the longevity business unit of a global insurer.
Experience
- Advising Zurich Assurance Ltd on transition of longevity swap for the Skanska Pension Fund.
- Advising Zurich Assurance Ltd on transitioning its existing longevity swap with the National Grid Electricity Group of the Electricity Supply Pension Scheme to Aviva, as part of arrangements for a £1.7bn pensioner buy-in by the Group.
