Andrew is Chief Information Officer at Macfarlanes and is responsible for setting and implementing the firm’s technology and information security strategies. His team delivers the robust technology platforms that allow our people to succeed, wherever they are working.
Having originally trained as an architect, he has spent two decades leading legal technology teams in Edinburgh and London, joining Macfarlanes in 2016.
In 2025, he was elected to the Board of the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) and serves as their Executive Vice President. Recognised as a member of CIO100, he is both a Chartered Engineer and a Chartered Fellow of the BCS.
