Ashton is an Associate in the Employment group who advises a broad range of clients on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment law issues.
Ashton advises on the full range of employment matters, including contentious disputes and day-to-day advisory work for a variety of clients, including major corporates, asset managers and private equity firms.
Her advisory practice spans the life cycle of the employment relationship, including the drafting and negotiating of bespoke service agreements and restrictive covenants, managing performance, grievance and disciplinary processes, and advising on exits, redundancies and settlement agreements. On the contentious side, she primarily acts for clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings.
Ashton also advises on the employment aspects of corporate transactions, including TUPE and the implementation of post‑completion employment arrangements.
Alongside her client work, Ashton serves on the steering committee of the firm’s Socio‑Economic Equity Network (SEEN) and regularly takes part in the firm’s pro bono and volunteering initiatives.
