Caitlin advises on a wide range of contentious matters, with a particular focus on trust and probate disputes, as well as commercial disputes and regulatory investigations.

Caitlin acts for a range of clients including international and domestic corporates, trustees, high net worth individuals and their family offices in relation to complex disputes across multiple jurisdictions. 

She has experience of High Court litigation proceedings and arbitration, as well as other forms of dispute resolution. Caitlin has also been involved in numerous proceedings in other jurisdictions, including courts in Bermuda, Jersey and the British Virgin Islands. 

Caitlin also has experience in regulatory investigations.

  • Advising a high-net worth beneficiary in relation to a series of Public Trustee v Cooper blessing applications in Bermuda.
  • Advising the Trustee of a trust of a high-net-worth family over a dispute in relation to allegations of historic breaches of duty.
  • Advising a high-net-worth individual in relation to a dispute as to the validity of a will.
  • Advising on an FCA enforcement investigation in relation to potential systems and controls failings in the financial services sector.
