Chase is a Senior Analyst in the Valuations team.

Chase advises on valuation, financial modelling and other corporate finance matters in relation to M&A, restructuring, tax planning/structuring, private equity/credit transactions, structuring of investment funds, secondaries transactions, succession planning, remuneration, real estate and disputes.

His work covers the following areas:

  • Valuations: management incentive plans, carried interest, share-based payment valuations, intangible valuations, valuation of earn-outs and legal entity valuations for restructuring.
  • Financial modelling: profit waterfall modelling, buy-side/sell-side funds flow modelling, capital structure modelling, pre/post-transaction share cap table, automation of share award letters and modelling of economic impact of proposed legislation changes.
  • Economic analysis: industry and economic research, fund returns benchmarking for private equity and credit transactions, transfer pricing benchmarking and ad-hoc economic analysis in relation to the proposed changes in terms, structures and legislation.  

Chase collaborates with lawyers across the firm by providing joined-up valuations, economic and financial modelling advisory with the legal advice.

He also works closely with other teams within Private Capital Solutions to produce periodic insights in relation to the private capital markets.

Chase holds a MSc in Accounting and Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
