Emma Bailey

Senior Associate

About

Emma advises clients on a broad range of complex cross-border transactions, including private equity deals, public and private M&A, joint ventures and corporate restructurings. She works with private equity houses, management teams and corporates, helping them navigate the many complexities that contribute to a successful deal.

She is particularly effective in transactions involving bespoke structuring or tight timetables, where competing interests need to be managed in order to achieve the right outcome. She frequently works on cross-border matters that include many different legal and regulatory frameworks, and has coordinated international deal teams across Europe, the US and other key markets.

Emma has also advised on a number of public-to-private transactions, combining her experience in public M&A with her knowledge of private equity processes.

Her secondment to a leading New York law firm and her earlier career in Brussels have both shaped her ability to work comfortably across jurisdictions and client teams.
