Emma advises trustees, executors, high-net-worth individuals and charities on complex and multi-jurisdictional trust, estate, family and company disputes.
Emma's experience includes advising on disputes involving breaches of fiduciary duties, acting for executors and beneficiaries in relation to the validity of contested wills and acting on various disputes between family members regarding their interests in trusts. The majority of Emma's work has an international element and Emma has experience litigating in Bermuda, the BVI, The Bahamas, the Cayman Islands and Hong Kong. As well as acting on contentious litigation, Emma frequently assists clients to resolve disputes through mediation.
Emma is admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.
