Howard heads the firm’s M&A group.
He undertakes a broad range of cross-border M&A. He has a wide-ranging practice spanning multiple sectors but with an increasing focus on the sports, leisure and hospitality sectors. Howard has also led teams advising on strategic M&A in the financial services sector.
He advises high-net-worth individuals, family offices and institutions on acquisitions, joint ventures and investment opportunities, as well as broader corporate advisory and governance matters.

- Advising Stonehage Fleming, one of the world’s leading independently owned multi-family offices, on a range of M&A matters over the last decade culminating in the recently announced combination with US-based wealth advisor Corient.
- Advising leading private markets data solutions provider Preqin on its sale to global investment manager BlackRock.
- Advising on the proposed acquisition of Manchester United by the Nine-Two Foundation, and its founder Sheikh Jassim.
- Advising Pitch International and its shareholders on its investment in the Matchroom group.
- Advising Qatar Sports Investments on a range of matters, including as regards its interests in Premier Padel and the purchase of a minority interest in the Portuguese football club, Sporting Club de Braga.
