Isabel is responsible for the Case Management Unit, a specialist litigation support team which ensures that cases are run as efficiently and effectively as possible. Isabel is a former partner of a boutique litigation firm, bringing with her over 20 years’ experience of the practical aspects of dispute resolution, from pre-action through to trial and beyond.
Isabel oversees the CMU’s eDisclosure work, which is undertaken by expert colleagues within the CMU in partnership with leading eDisclosure providers, and coordinates logistical support for trials and hearings. She also investigates, pilots and implements generative AI and other innovative litigation technologies, working closely with the Lawtech team.
Isabel is involved in providing pro bono advice to clients of the St Hilda’s Legal Advice Clinic in Shoreditch and via the ‘Free Legal Answers’ platform run by the LawWorks charity, and features in the Law Society’s Pro Bono Recognition List of solicitors and barristers who have given 25 hours of legal pro bono assistance in the last year. She also sits on the firm’s Community and Charity Committee supporting the firm’s Charity of the Year partnership and is a volunteer reader in a local primary school through the firm’s current partnership with children’s charity Coram.
