Jack advises on a wide range of debt finance transactions with particular experience in advising private capital fund managers on capital call, NAV and asset-based lending facilities.
Jack works with clients ranging from first-time managers to global institutions, very often on multi-jurisdictional mandates. His experience includes acting on asset-based lending facilities for global credit fund managers, capital call facilities for private equity fund managers, and bespoke securitisation structures for private capital managers. He also advises clients in relation to significant risk transfer and structured finance transactions and has additional experience in speciality and real estate finance.
Alongside his client work, Jack is a member of the steering committee for the firm's social mobility network and takes an active role in the firm's outreach activities across the country to improve access to the legal profession.
Experience
- Advising Legal & General, a longstanding client, and its partner, investment manager Goldacre, on development financing from ICG for a £750m sustainable, urban hyperscale data centre in the London Borough of Newham.
- Advising ARA Venn, together with Saltaire Housing Limited and Saltaire Finance plc on updates of the bond programme for the Affordable Housing Guarantee Scheme and, separately, together with PRS Operations Limited and PRS Finance plc on updates of the bond programme for the Private Rented Sector Housing Guarantee Scheme and multi-billion issuances under those programmes.
