Jeremy advises on a broad range of tax and structuring matters with a particular focus on transactions and related reorganisations.
He has extensive experience advising companies, partnerships and individuals on the tax aspects of domestic and cross-border transactions.
Jeremy’s specialisms include advising on complex M&A, including transactions in the financial services and professional services sectors and those involving LLPs and partnerships.
He also advises on corporate reorganisations and advises groups on their tax planning.
Clients appreciate Jeremy’s focus on solutions and his ability to cut through complexity to give clear straightforward advice.
Jeremy is a member of the international tax sub-committee of the Law Society of England and Wales and contributes to consultations with HM Revenue & Customs and HM Treasury on developments in tax legislation.

- Advising Banco de Sabadell S.A., a Spanish listed multinational financial services company, on the proposed £2.65bn sale of TSB Banking Group plc to Banco Santander.
- Advising Valterra Platinum (formerly Anglo American Platinum), on its c. £7.5bn London listing and demerger from Anglo American plc.
- Advising Joshua Alliance and his bid vehicle Falcon 24 Topco Limited on the proposed £408m take-private of N Brown Group plc.
- Advising Preqin, a leading private markets data solutions provider, on its sale to global investment manager BlackRock for £2.55bn.
