Joe advises on a broad range of UK and cross-border tax matters, with a particular focus on the investment management industry.
In particular, Joe advises on the house and fund structuring aspects of the investment management industry. This includes advising:
- on the establishment and structuring of funds, and their management and remuneration structures; and
- institutional investors on the tax aspects of investments into a wide range of international investments funds.
Experience
- Advising Hayfin on its agreement with Arctos Partners, a private investment firm, to support a management buyout of the business, acquiring British Columbia Management Corporation’s majority stake.
- Advising Hayfin Capital on a wide variety of house and fund structuring matters.
- Advising USS on a number of investments into international investment funds.
- Advising Astorg on fund structuring matters.
