About

Kirstie acts for private equity sponsors and portfolio companies, corporate borrowers and issuers, credit fund and bank lenders, special situations investors and speciality finance providers on a range of multi-jurisdictional financing transactions.

Kirstie advises clients on leveraged, hybrid and investment grade financings, acquisition financings, dividend recapitalisations and capital restructurings. She has extensive domestic, European and global cross-border experience.

Clients appreciate Kirstie’s technical expertise, proactivity and strong commercial approach, working collaboratively to find solutions in complex scenarios. Kirstie has served on the Banking Law Committee of the International Bar Association and is a member of the British-German Jurists Association.

She is ranked by Chambers and Partners in Band 1 for "Leveraged Finance: Mid-Market" and “Corporate Finance: Mid-Market” and by The UK Legal 500 as a "Leading Partner" for both "Acquisition Finance" and "Bank Lending: Investment Grade Debt and Syndicated Loans"; and was named in The Lawyer magazine’s "Hot 100 2021" as “one of the City’s go-to banking and finance lawyers for private equity sponsors, corporate borrowers and credit funds”.

Alongside her work, Kirstie is a Partner Champion of the firm’s Pride network and a member of SEEN, the firm’s socio-economic equity network.  She is also an active contributor to market journals for leveraged and acquisition finance.
