Luke is the firm’s managing partner, having been appointed in May 2022.
From 2018 to 2022, Luke was the co-head of our corporate and M&A team and he remains a partner in the group advising on all aspects of M&A transactions. Luke has experience in many sectors but particularly specialises in financial services, asset management and private equity (both buy-outs and secondaries).
Experience
- Advising Wendel Group on its acquisition of a controlling interest in IK Partners.
- Advising Aermont Capital on the sale of an initial 50% stake to Keppel Corporation Limited.
- Advising Arcmont Asset Management on its sale to Nuveen, the investment manager of the Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America Fund (TIAA).
- Advising Goldman Sachs on multiple transactions, including the acquisition of the NBG funds from National Bank of Greece S.A.
- Advising Legal & General on multiple transactions, including its investments in Pemberton and Salary Finance.
- Advising J.C. Flowers & Co. on multiple transactions, including its acquisition of Interactive Investors and Cabot Credit Management Limited.
