Marica is a Senior Knowledge Lawyer in the Real Estate group. She supports colleagues on transactional matters and legal and market developments affecting the real estate sector.
Marica joined Macfarlanes in 2022 after spending seven years in private practice, where she advised on a broad range of commercial property managers, including investment acquisitions, asset management and real estate finance.
Drawing on this transactional experience, she delivers technical legal support to the group through training programmes and by acting as internal counsel on complex queries. She develops the team’s know-how and precedents to promote consistency, efficiency and best practice. Marica also contributes to firm publications to ensure that clients stay aligned with the ever-changing UK real estate landscape.
She also collaborates with lawyers and business services colleagues to explore and implement legal technology to streamline processes and deliver innovative solutions for both clients and colleagues.
Marica is a member of the Law Society of England & Wales and is also a member of the Property Support Lawyers Group.
