Michael advises on a range of corporate matters, including domestic and cross-border M&A, private equity transactions and corporate advisory work.
Michael acts for a broad client base, including private equity houses, management teams, large corporates and entrepreneurs. He advises on mergers, acquisitions and disposals, restructurings, joint ventures and corporate governance.
A large number of his matters are multi-jurisdictional and he spent nine months seconded to the M&A team of a leading New York law firm.

- Advising Stanhope Capital Group, one of Europe’s largest independent wealth management and advisory firms, on its combination with US-based wealth advisor Corient.
- Advising PMG on its acquisition of RocketMill, a leading independent, full service digital marketing agency.
- Advising Arcmont Asset Management on the strategic partnership between Nuveen Private Capital, Hunter Point Capital and Temasek
- Advising Canadian real estate investment company, Realstar, on the sale of a £750m portfolio of eight build-to-rent (BTR) and student accommodation properties to QuadReal Property Group, which invests on behalf of British Columbia Investment Management Corporation.
- Advising J. C. Flowers & Co and Bain Capital Credit on their joint acquisition of a minority stake in The Co-Operative Bank.
- Advising Improbable Worlds on its sale of The Multiplayer Group to Keywords Studios for £76.5m.
- Advising Affidea Group, the leading European provider of diagnostic imaging, outpatient and cancer care services, on its acquisition of the UK’s largest orthopaedic group, Fortius Clinic.
- Advising Charme Capital Partners on its acquisition of a majority stake in Prism Healthcare.
- Advising Hayfin on a range of house advisory matters, including governance and compensation arrangements and group reorganisations.
