About

Radhika advises on all aspects of construction law, predominantly advising developers and institutional investors on major development projects.

Radhika acts for a broad spectrum of clients (both domestic and international) including developers, landlords, purchasers, private clients, funders and owner-occupiers. She advises on procurement strategies, building contracts, consultant appointments, warranties, third-party rights, bonds and guarantees. Radhika also advises on construction aspects of agreements for lease, forward funding agreements, and development and funding agreements.

Radhika is experienced in development finance, acquisition transactions, and development work ranging from office and high-end residential developments to hotels, shopping centres and mixed-use schemes.

Radhika is a member of the Society of Construction Law.

Radhika sits on the steering group for our REACH (race, ethnicity and cultural heritage) staff network, a forum for networking and peer support between ethnic minority staff and allies.

Experience

  • Advising a JV comprising Stanhope and Cheyne Capital on the £450m acquisition of Row One from Landsec and providing on going development advice.
  • Advising Legal and General as developer on its developments of the Sky Studios at Elstree, the extension of the Begbroke Science Park and the Life and Mind Building at Oxford.
  • Stanhope and Mitsui joint ventures on the mixed-use redevelopment of the BBC Media Village, Television Centre and on the extension of the British Library.
  • Advising Regent’s Crescent Group on the redevelopment of the Regent’s Crescent development near Regent’s Park.
  • Advising Realstar Group on the funding and development of the PRS and affordable housing property at Newington Butts in Elephant and Castle, and the forward funding of multiple properties at Wembley, Acton, Leeds and Southall.
  • Advising various developers and individuals on high-end residential refurbishment and development projects.
  • Advising CIT Developments LLP on the redevelopment, financing and refinancing of a mixed-use scheme at Finsbury Tower.
  • Advising Canary Wharf Group as developers on the procurement aspects, financing and construction of the development at Wood Wharf (a new area to the east of Canary Wharf comprising over 3,000 residential units and 2.8m Sq ft of office and retail space).
  • Advising British Land in relation to the mixed-use development at Clarges Estate in Piccadilly, London and the Leadenhall Building.
