Rebecca specialises in non-contentious construction advice.

She advises a range of developers, funders and owner occupiers in relation to all aspects of construction procurement including drafting, negotiating and reviewing building contracts, professional appointments and development documents.

Rebecca is a member of the Society of Construction Law.

Experience

  • Advising long-standing client Realstar Group, a Canadian real estate investment company on the corporate acquisition of the circa £100m Ilford build-to-rent (BTR) scheme from Beverly Hills-based real estate company Kennedy Wilson.
  • Advising Legal & General on the acquisition of Deansgate Square’s North Tower in Manchester, the tallest build-to-rent (BTR) scheme in the UK.
  • Advising various high end residential refurbishment and development projects including The Knightsbridge and Eaton Square for private clients and residential developers.
  • Advising British Land on various projects including the mixed-use redevelopments at Blossom Street and Paddington Central.
  • Advising Stanhope plc on the construction aspects of a number of key projects including Moorgate EC2, Hereford Shopping Centre, 1 Angel Court, Royal Albert Docks and the mixed-use redevelopments of the BBC Television Centre and Ruskin Square at Croydon.
  • Advising Lipton Rogers on the redevelopment of 22 Bishopsgate.
  • Advising Rocket Investments on the mixed-use redevelopment of 145 City Road.
  • Advising Development Securities on the development of the office regeneration scheme at 12 Hammersmith Grove.
  • Advising various forward funders providing finance in connection with mixed-use and retail developments.
