Rob specialises in employee share schemes and incentives and heads up the Reward practice. He advises both listed and unlisted clients on the design, operation and implementation of option plans and other employee share schemes (including the tax and regulatory aspects).
Rob also advises management teams and deals with the share schemes aspects of M&A transactions.
Rob has a wide range of clients but has a particular focus on the financial sector. His team covers all aspects of law relating to employee share schemes and incentives, including employment, tax, trust law and regulatory issues. He has particular experience in tax efficient plans, including SAYE option plans, EMI options, CSOPs and SIPs. Rob also advises on the share schemes aspects of high profile international transactions. Rob is a member of the Share Plan Lawyers Group.

- Advising Evelyn Partners on the sale of their professional services division.
- Advising Tabula Holdings Limited, a European ETF provider, on the share plan aspects of its takeover by US listed global asset manager, Janus Henderson Group plc.
- Advising TTP Group Limited, a leading technology and product development company, on the establishment of share-based incentive plans for two of its portfolio companies.
- Advising a specialist orthopaedics and sports medicine group based in the UK on incentivisation arrangements for employees and consultants of the group.
- Advising the management team of a listed property company on a management incentive plan following their £511m take private by Blackstone.
- Advising on the structure of a directorship agreement and designing a share plan for a high-net-worth individual being appointed as a director of and making a significant investment in a high growth company.
