Sarah is a highly experienced adviser on complex real estate transactions and the structuring of sophisticated private equity real estate investment platforms across multiple jurisdictions, acting for institutional investors and private funds. She also regularly advises clients on the formation and operation of onshore and offshore authorised investment funds.

Sarah is a member of the Investment Association’s Tax Committee, the British Property Federation Tax Committee, the European Association for Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate Tax Committee, and spent six months on secondment at an alternative asset management firm.

Sarah contributes to Tolley’s Property Taxation on Investment versus Trading.

  • Advising Hayfin on the acquisition and financing of landmark London office building 70 St Mary Axe Nuveen Real Estate.
  • Advising Legal & General on the speculative acquisition and development of a prime London urban logistics site.
  • Advising Pandox on the scheme of arrangement and completion of the acquisition of Dalata Hotel Group plc.
  • Advising L&G on the merger of the Federated Hermes Property Unit Trust and the L&G Managed Property Fund to establish an enlarged £4.7bn platform
  • Advising Hayfin, a long-standing client, on the acquisition of Berlin's largest shopping centre from Nuveen and Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, involving cross-border issues
  • Advising L&G Asset Management on a strategic partnership with Blackstone.
  • Advising Partners Group on the launch of its first private credit focused Long-Term Asset Fund, the Partners Group Generations Private Credit LTAF.
