Will has a particular focus on high-value international trust and private client disputes, as well as complex commercial litigation.
He acts for a wide range of UK and international clients including large corporates, sovereign institutions, professional trustees and high-net-worth individuals.
Will has experience litigating in the UK and international courts, including Jersey, Guernsey, the Cayman Islands and The Bahamas.
Notable work includes guiding the Libyan Investment Authority to a series of landmark victories in the Commercial Court and the Court of Appeal in a dispute over the Chairmanship of Libya’s sovereign wealth fund.
Will also brings valuable experience from secondments to the commercial litigation team of a prominent FTSE 100 company and as a Judicial Assistant to the Chancery Division of the High Court.

Experience
- Obtaining significant victories for the Libyan Investment Authority before the English Commercial Court and Court of Appeal in a dispute of international importance and engaging issues of constitutional law.
- Acting in a successful jurisdiction challenge before the English Commercial Court and Court of Appeal in one of the most significant and high value pieces of international fraud litigation currently before the English courts.
- Defending a complex commercial fraud case brought against a wide range of defendants including a professional trustee and one of its beneficiaries.
- Acting for a professional trustee in relation to a series of offshore blessing applications in the context of long-running disputes between family members, including as to the management of valuable underlying companies.
- Co-ordination of multi-jurisdictional and contested litigation in respect of a dispute between beneficiaries of substantial offshore trusts.
- Advising on a broad range of corporate disputes including claims for breach of contract and breaches of directors’ duties.
