Macfarlanes has advised longstanding client Legal & General’s Asset Management Division on the launch of a joint venture between Legal & General, Dutch pension fund, PGGM, and UK pension fund, Nest.
Macfarlanes advised on the joint venture structure which will co-invest in residential property developments, including purpose built private rental housing across the UK and compliment the build to rent strategy of Legal & General's UK Build to Rent Fund.
The Macfarlanes team was led by private funds partner Harriet Miller and associate Jade Allman. Tax advice was provided by partner Sarah Shucksmith and associate Jack Slater.
