Harry has broad transactional experience in public and private M&A, equity capital markets and other corporate transactions.
Harry has a particular specialism in cross-border matters as well as advising UK listed clients on a wide range of corporate governance matters.
Harry has authored several publications, and regularly speaks at international conferences, on subjects relevant to his practice. He is also a Vice Chair of the IBA’s Corporate and M&A Law Committee.
Harry is a member of the firm’s management committee. He heads our international practice, as part of which he has oversight of our relationships with international law firms, as well as our public M&A team.

- Advising Kering on the €4bn disposal of its beauty division to L'Oréal.
- Advising Valterra Platinum (formerly Anglo American Platinum) on its c. £7.5bn London listing and demerger from Anglo American.
- Advising Peter Hargreaves, the co-founder and largest shareholder of Hargreaves Lansdown, on the recommended takeover of Hargreaves Lansdown by a consortium of CVC, Nordic Capital and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority for £5.4bn.
- Advising Superdry on multiple asset disposals followed by a first-of-its-kind equity raise alongside a court-approved restructuring plan and delisting.
- Advising Hyve on its £320m takeover by Providence Equity.
- Advising NortonLifeLock Inc., a NASDAQ-listed consumer cybersecurity solutions provider, on its $25bn cash and stock merger with Avast.
- Advising Jazz Pharmaceuticals on its acquisition of GW Pharmaceuticals for a total cash and stock consideration of $7.2bn.
- Advising Alexion Pharmaceuticals on its acquisition by AstraZeneca for $39bn in cash and shares.
