Tim advises on domestic and cross-border restructuring and insolvency matters, including Part 26A restructuring plans, CVAs, administrations, liquidations and consensual restructurings.
Tim works with a variety of stakeholders affected by insolvency, including private credit funds, private equity sponsors, banks, borrowers, trade creditors, insolvency practitioners and the shareholders and directors of distressed companies. Clients turn to Tim when they require strong technical knowledge of insolvency to find a solution.
Tim has particular expertise with Part 26A restructuring plans having acting company side on three sanctioned restructuring plan and creditor side on one of the most heavily contested restructuring plans.
Tim is a co-author of the Insolvency and Restructuring Manual (4th Edition) and has been awarded the Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency (with distinction) by the Insolvency Practitioners' Association.

- Advising Teneo on the monitorship of the Corbin & King group in the first contested Part A1 moratorium to be heard by the High Court.
- Representing Dobbies Garden Centres on its successful Part 26A restructuring plan, which was only the second to be sanctioned by the Scottish court.
