Michael advises clients on their business-critical disputes, with a particular focus on complex commercial litigation and international fraud.
He acts for financial institutions, corporates and entrepreneurs in high-profile, high-stakes, cross-border cases, often involving the management of international parallel proceedings and regulatory investigations. His experience spans numerous jurisdictions and laws including England and Wales, the US, Germany, Luxembourg, Norway, Australia, the PRC and CIS.
Michael draws on extensive experience handling disputes across a diverse range of sectors including financial services, energy, technology and sport. His practice encompasses fraudulent misrepresentation, conspiracy and dishonest assistance claims, restructuring disputes, standalone and follow-on competition claims, contractual disputes and investigations.
He has experience before the High Court and Competition Appeal Tribunal, and is well-versed in securing favourable settlements for clients, including through mediation.
Michael is a member of the London Solicitors Litigation Association and the Young Fraud Lawyers Association.

- Advised European and UK corporates and entrepreneurs facing allegations of conspiracy, breach of contract and intellectual property misuse.
- Advised a global bank opposing a contentious restructuring plan concerning a €1bn European real estate development project.
- Defended an international bank in High Court litigation and CAT collective proceedings arising out of alleged FX manipulation.
- Acted for liquidators alleging fraudulent breach of directors’ duties and dishonest assistance arising out of an investment scheme.
- Acted for a Nasdaq-listed sports data technology company in a standalone High Court competition claim.
